Description
White tea refers to a minimally processed type of tea where the leaves and blossoms are picked before full maturation and then air dried with no further handling. It traditionally comes from the Chinese region of Fujian, and it has mostly been popularized in the last two centuries. It has the lightest and sweetest flavor of all types of tea, as well as the lowest amount of naturally occurring caffeine. Its light and delicate flavor makes it most enjoyable by everyone, including people who aren’t big fans of green and black tea, who are trying to cut down on caffeine, or prefer to enjoy their tea without adding milk and sugar. In this blend, the superblue lavender enhances the delicate flavor of white tea with its flowery and intense aroma. Enjoyable hot and cold, this tea also lends itself well as a base for cocktails and mocktails, for example mixed with lemonade for an unexpected Arnold Palmer. Naturally vegan and gluten-free, contains caffeine.
Steep 1 tsp of white lavender tea for each 8 ounces of hot water at 160 – 180 °F for up to 3 minutes.
Available in 0.5 and 1.25 ounces.
