Description
English Breakfast is one of the world most famous tea blends, but accounts of its origins vary. Drinking a blend of black teas for breakfast is a longstanding British and Irish custom, but the popularization of this particular blend has been attributed in part to Queen Victoria, which is said to have first tried it at her summer residence in Balmoral, Scotland, in the late 19th century, then raved about it to the rest of the court back in London, and the rest is history. Traditionally made with Assam and Ceylon black teas, this tea is robust and full bodied, and it pairs particularly well with milk and sugar, as it’s usually taken with a classic English breakfast. USDA certified organic, naturally vegan and gluten-free. Contains caffeine.
Steep 1 level tsp of English Breakfast per each 8 oz of boiling water for up to 5 minutes.
