Description
This blend aims to recreate that sweet and savory balance typical of beef bulgogi, a favorite of Korean BBQ. Sesame seeds and soy sauce powder take care of the savory part, and a mixture of brown and cane sugar TOGETHER with the fruitiness of the apple powder make for a very complex and enjoyable flavor. Traditionally used as a dry rub for thin sliced steak or short ribs, this blend works just as well on other meats and meat substitutes such as tofu and seitan.
Try it in burgers and soups as well.
Naturally vegan. Contains wheat and soy. Not suited for a gluten-free diet.
Ingredients: sesame seeds, apple flake powder, brown sugar, ginger, Korean chili flakes, black pepper, organic raw cane sugar, dehydrated soy sauce, garlic, onion, red miso powder (soybeans, rice, salt), salt (20 mg per 1/4 tsp), wheat fiber (as an anti caking agent).
