Description
Southern India is one of the world leaders in tea production, home to many different varieties of teas. This particular variety comes from the Western Ghats, in a region known as the Hills of Elephants, and is remarkably low in tannins. The low tannin content makes for a fragrant, medium-bodied black tea, crisp and slightly sweet. Enjoyable by everyone, no matter their tea preference, Iyerpadi tea is delicious both hot and cold, and a great base for boba tea and tea-based cocktails and mocktails. Naturally vegan and gluten-free, contains caffeine. USDA certified organic.
Steep 1 level tsp of South Indian Iyerpadi per each 8 oz of water at 180 – 190 °F for up to 3 minutes for hot tea and 5 minutes for iced tea.
Available in 1 and 2.75 ounces.
