Description

Mustard flour or mustard powder (also called dry mustard) is made by finely grinding mustard seeds. Yellow mustard is the most common type of mustard, mellower than both the brown and black varieties. Mustard seeds play an important role in cuisines all over the world, both whole and ground.  Mustard flour can be used to make your own mustard, and can also be added to any dish that could use a bit of kick: try it as part of a dry rub for chicken and fish, use in salad dressings, potato salad, egg dishes, and in creamy and cheesy sauces to cut the richness of dairy with a bit of zing.
